Gentle Melody

The soothing sound of water gently nourishes the soul. I love this quote, there is purpose in the hard rocks, in the obstructions in our path. Fighting them, seeking to uproot them, often is futile. In seeking to be fluid like the water, we simply flow around these perceived obstacles even wearing them down over time. There is no striving here, simply acknowledging what is and moving on. There can be much beauty in this, a sweet melody, as we change, adapt, and celebrate the journey along the way. A relaxing into the flow, a trusting in the path we are on even when we cannot see around the bend.
