Traveling home after a recent summer rain shower, I turned the corner and was struck by this incredible scene. Pulling over, I had to stop and marvel at the fleeting beauty before me. Refreshing rains had just stopped, the desert floor still glistened with the pooled water as the vibrant sunset was reflected within. The distinct smell of Creosote bushes filled the air which always brings back beautiful memories in the desert. Enchanting sunbeams danced through the sky from behind the clouds. Sunsets always bring me a sense of the divine, the hope and promise of a new day, a new season yet to come.
