I love living here in Carefree, sometimes I feel a little like Snow White watching the wonderful variety of birds and animals just outside. One of my favorite things is watching the birds come to my courtyard fountain to cool off and have a refreshing drink. This spring, I noticed some quail laid eggs in one of my courtyard pots. I had my camera always ready at my breakfast table window and captured much!
Early one morning, this bunny jumped in the gate and headed for the pots. Thank God my camera was sitting right there! What beautiful light beginning to filter through, lighting her and some of the leaves and flowers.
I couldn’t resist, I knew I had to paint this scene. I titled this special painting “Good Morning!”, smiling the whole time and so thankful for this wonderful gift. What fun!
