Mi Casa

After leaving the ruins of Olerdola Castle, not far from Barcelona, we drove to a welcoming old stone farmhouse in the country for lunch. Exploring the grounds of this beautiful setting, my thoughts wondered to my own home and the one we are starting to build in Carefree.

First, for the architectural elements of old stone and brick, iron and wood that reflect our travels through Italy and Spain. Next my thoughts drifted to hospitality and the want and hope, even prayer that our home always be open to family, friends, and visitors.
