Golden Delight

Autumn comes to the forest calling me to venture out and explore. Light and shadow shift and lengthen as the sun stretches across the sky. A path through the trees and grasses emerges. A grouping of three stunning aspen catches my eye, they are truly a golden delight, their leaves dancing slowly in the breeze. Birdsong fills my ears singing my song, nature’s melody. I am enveloped by the beauty all around, as far as the eye can see. It is as if beauty sees my weak places, my tired places and washes away the dust, she is a salve to my wounds. I feel whole here under this glorious blue sky.
