Brilliant cactus blooms, ladies of the desert, entrance me with their beauty amidst the thorns. I find so many life parallels with their delicate petals in such a harsh environment, determined to bloom. Vibrant color contrast reminds me of our divine creator, crafting beautifully, flowers gently pointing up, leaning into the light. No matter the circumstances around us we may bloom right where we are planted, bringing light, beauty, and hope within and to a watching world.
This painting will be featured during Cowgirl Up! At the Sigler (formerly Desert Caballeros) Western Museum in Wickenburg, AZ. Opening weekend is, March 27-29. The exhibition and sale runs from March 27 – May 31, 2026
