Lionhearted
“Even the bravest of creatures have some fears but it is not enough to stop them from moving in the path they are destined to walk upon.”
– Anonymous
“Lion, lion golden spun
In savannah’s of the sun,
what immortal eye, or hand
weaves beasts from dreams,
sews sky to land?” – Christyl Rivers
How do I express what it was like to witness lions out in their wild and natural habitat? These wonderful creatures, royalty of the animal kingdom, were filled with raw strength and danger, yet at the same time, also expressed such gentleness and contentment. My thoughts drift to being lion hearted. What are these beauties teaching me? I see boldness, confidence, fearlessness, they are exceptionally brave and courageous. How do I translate these into being lionhearted myself? I envision being content with who I am, yet always challenging myself in new areas, daring to be bold and courageous in the face of adversity. I am choosing to be in the present moment, aware of the beauty around me, and the threats, brave, and fighting for what I believe in.
