Whispering Aspen

Aspens leaves dance in the breeze as if they were whispering to one another in an ancient conversation. The soft, warm glow of the afternoon sun reaches through the cool shadows. Of all the trees I have gazed upon, Aspens are my favorite. The white bark contrasts so beautifully with the woods beyond and the sound of the fluttering leaves is heavenly. Time seems to stand still as I close my eyes for a moment, simply to listen and breathe deep. Exploring this beautiful scene, I loved observing how so many surrounding colors were reflected in the white bark. What a gift to behold taking the time to watch the leaves turn and to reflect on life itself.
