Joy Comes in the Morning

Uncertainty and darkness have spread amongst us during these pandemic times. What a reminder that I am not in control, and to hold onto my future plans loosely. Yes, we plan, dream, and work hard, yet trust that all will work out in the end as we walk this winding road. Plans change, dreams evolve, but no matter how dark or confusing things may become, nature always reminds me that the dark night will pass. A vibrant spring bursts forth, and “joy comes in the morning”, our promise in Psalms 30:5. I cannot imagine where I would be without my faith, as I draw close, peace envelopes me, anxieties wash away, and hope prevails…amen. 

Joy Comes in the Morning is juried into the National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society’s 30th Best of America’s National Juried Exhibition.
