Called by the Light

Life’s trials and traumas can leave us feeling like we are stumbling around in darkness. Sometimes this is for a season, other times it can linger for years. Yet, no matter what happened to us or what we have done, we were never meant to live in darkness and fear, building our walls. The light always pierces through the darkness, wooing us, showing us a way out. Beauty always prevails despite the thorns or ashes, maybe this beauty is even infinitely increased on the other side of trauma. We need only step out in faith and travel the broken road to beauty, light, and healing. 

Called by the Light is inspired by my own broken journey through significant darkness called into hope, healing, restoration, and freedom. God reached out his hand and I latched on tight, He healed to my wounds and gave me true life. I walk in freedom now stepping firmly into light and beauty. This special painting is meant to represent my journey with hopes of it being my book cover as I publish. My book title is “Through the Fire, Traveling the Broken Road to Hope and Healing”.
