Ever Changing

Ever Changing

The light falls on the Aspens in the distance, the water gently flows while the leaves drift down on the breeze. Fall has come in all its beauty, preparing the way for the harsh winter. Seasons roll, one into another, ever changing, never ceasing.
The only thing constant is change. Why then do we fight it so? Just when we think we have it all figured out change comes once again. How do we respond? This painting was a real lesson in this for me as I “changed” her many times, scraping out what did not belong, adding and accenting just what she needed. Somethings we too need to remove those things in our lives hindering us and not allowing us to move forward to grow into all we are meant to be.
