Auray Commission

Marion walked in during the Hidden in the Hills Open Studio Tour and fell in love with Desert Morn 1 and 2, my recent diptych and Marion and I began to discuss a commission. She invited me to her incredible home to explore and discuss further.

Driving through the gates, Pinnacle Peak loomed before me, how majestic! She showed me just the spot she had in mind, over her fireplace and next to the stunning views out her grand windows. This is what caught her eye with my work, it reminded her of the views she sees every day. We discussed size and custom created this set to fit her space, each is 36×18. We also discussed which plants, cactus, and blooms to include along with the cool distant mountain range and of course Pinnacle Peak. How exciting to create their vision, I am honored to work with Marion and Bob!
