Catching the bloom of a Cereus Peruvianis is a real treat, a gift called forth from the darkness. These flowers begin to bloom in the night usually reaching full bloom by midnight, only to wither away as the sun rises. She only blooms once and if she was fortunate enough to be pollinated, she will then produce a rich red fruit brimming with seeds.
