Delight

As the spring rains drench the thirsty desert floor, delicate cholla blooms burst forth amidst the thorns. I am reminded of new life promised in this season, after a long stretch of winter. Seasons change, one after another as it does in our own lives. Some quiet and still, some long and dark, others a delight filled with beauty and hope, the promise of a new day, a fresh start, and renewal.
This painting will be featured during Cowgirl Up! At the Sigler (formerly Desert Caballeros) Western Museum in Wickenburg, AZ. Opening weekend is, March 27-29. The exhibition and sale runs from March 27 – May 31, 2026
