On our way to visit Niagara Falls we stopped first at the Butterfly Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, who could resist! Strolling through the paths of this exotic rain forest setting I could not help feeling like a kid on Christmas morning, butterflies, butterflies everywhere! So many fluttering here and there, landing on me and then taking flight once again. The colors a kaleidoscope of jewel tones in motion, living jewelry, a precious gift accenting the lush foliage throughout. How magical, the dance of a butterfly… I find myself completely mesmerized, entranced even. Such struggle each goes through only to emerge from this adversity free and beautiful indeed. I could have spent all day in here, observing and photographing each one. Richard had to practically drag me out to go and visit the falls!!
