Into the Forest

This truth of this fills my spirit as I walk slowly on the winding path through the aspen grove. Vibrant leaves quake overhead in a dance all their own. It’s hypnotic really, calling, whispering…wooing me while listen, a sense of peace descends. I deeply inhale this cool mountain air, what a refreshing gift. Shades of green, gold, and orange delight the senses against the cool bark of these majestic trees. Muir had it right experiencing the cares, distractions, and life circumstances wash away in this place. Walking through nature, through the forest, always fills my soul.
