We all need a buddy right! I experienced the joy of watching this sweet baby zebra while visiting the Ngorongoro crater, on safari in Tanzania. I loved watching her hop around playfully, not a care in the world. Then she seemed to pose just for me, what a gift!

The Oxpecker is often found on the backs of zebras. Not only do these birds keep the bugs down, they also help to clean the zebra too. In this symbiotic relationship, the Oxpecker will fly up and scream in warning when danger is near. While the bird gets all the food it wants, she is an effective warning system for this baby too.
